Rhubarb and Strawberry Gin Cocktails
This summer Boodles launched a pink gin, a very English-sounding and very delicious-sounding Rhubarb and Strawberry Gin.
Boodles have been making gin since 1845, and no matter how successful you are there must come a time when you get tired of making the same old gin, year after year. So, 175 years after they were founded Boodles decided to produce a pink gin.
To make the pink gin Boodles took their original London Dry-style gin and added fresh rhubarb and fresh strawberries, both things I love and which are absolutely delicious in combination. Other than having them with custard, I can’t imagine anything better than infusing them into a gin.
Rhubarb and Strawberry Gin Cocktails
While this is a gin you could obviously sip neat, it sounds like one that’s crying out to add lots of flavour – and gin – to a creative cocktail. Thankfully Boodles have created some, starting with a couple of simple ones, a gin and tonic and a gin with lemonade.
